CATEGORIES

We will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the following categories.

  • Best Kid Costume open to those 14 and under - starts at 3:20pm

  • Most Creative Costume open to those 17 and under starts at 3:50pm

  • Family Fun Costume open to families and/or groups of any age starts at 4:20pm

RULES

To participate in the Costume Contest, please arrive at the front of the stage (North Side) no later than 10 minutes prior to the start time of your preferred category.

The Studio 8 Rally Crew will ask participants to join in a group dance. We will then select finalists for each category.

There will be up to 8 finalists for both the Best Kid Costume and the Most Original Costume.

For the Family Fun category, we will select up to 6 families/groups.

Finalists will be given a ribbon indicating they are a finalist.

Our finalists will be escorted to the stage and introduced to the audience.

Audience participation will determine our winner so we be sure to have your cheering section there and ready to scream! In the event of a tie, the Rally Crew and Fairy Godmother will break the tie.

Portions of events here are being recorded for future use by Studio 8 Event Entertainment, Hupko Creative, LLC, Macaroni Kid Scottsdale and Arizona Boardwalk.

By your presence here, you consent to you and/or your child being depicted and recorded and agree that Studio 8 Event Entertainment may use and grant the right to others to us your (or your child’s) voice, likeness, and actions without limitation or restriction and without payment of any kind to you for all purposes (including advertising and promotions) in all media, known and unknown, throughout the world, in perpetuity.

Studio 8 Event Entertainment is proceeding in reliance upon this notice and consent in connection with its production and activities at Arizona Boardwalk. If you do not wish to give your consent, you must remain out of range of the camera and sound recording equipment. Any failure to do so will be deemed consent and a waiver of any and all claims you might assert.
